ANATOMY OF A SCREENPLAY (One Day Intensive)

What this workshop offers: Through a series of writing exercises and talks, you’ll learn to craft your film idea into a logline, develop your nuanced main character, use your character to flesh out your film’s structure, map out your main plot points, explore how to write compelling dialogue, and make a tangible writing plan to start writing your feature film.

Who is it for: Beginners, storytellers who want to try their hand at a feature film, or screenwriters looking for a refresher.

When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023, from 10 am - 4 pm (includes a half-hour lunch break).

What you need:

• A Zoom account.

• A film idea involving one protagonist (main character) that you’d like to workshop.

• A notebook or computer to take notes.

• A dedicated commitment from 10 AM - 4 PM on October 1st to work on your screenwriting vision.
